Classic Tours
Tour
CL1 Classic Florence. This tour is
aimed at those who wish to see all the most
important sights, usually those who are visiting
Florence for the first time, which consists of a
fascinating walk through the historic centre of
the city. The tour includes the Franciscan church
of Santa Croce, known as the "Pantheon of
the Italian Glories" owing to the fact that
many illustrious Italians, such as Michelangelo,
Galileo, Rossini and Machiavelli, are buried
here. The visit also includes the religious
centre (the Baptistry, the Duomo and Giotto's
Bell-tower), as well as the political centre
(Piazza della Signoria) of the city.Reserve this tour
Tour
CL2 Academy Gallery. One of the world's most
visited museums, famous for Michelangelo's David
and the Prisoners, as well as the Saint Matthew
and the beautiful Barberini Pietà. The tour
continues with the Duomo and the church of Santa
Croce, where it is possible to admire the
magnificent tomb of the great Michelangelo.Reserve this tour
Tour CL3 Uffizi Gallery. The
most visited museum in Florence, and one of the
most important painting collections in the world,
which allows one to relive the evolution of
Italian painting thanks to works by Giotto, Piero
della Francesca, Filippo Lippi, Botticelli,
Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Andrea del
Sarto, Raphael and Titian.Reserve this tour
Tour CL4 Palatine Gallery.
An extraordinary collection of painting from the
High Renaissance to the Baroque (Raphael, Titian,
Rubens, Van Dyck), housed in what was the last
and most solemn of the Medici palaces. The visit
also includes the so-called Royal Apartments,
where King Umberto and Queen Margherita of Savoy
lived when Florence was Italy's capital city
(1865-71). The tour continues with a visit to the
Boboli Gardens, one of the grandest and most
elegant gardens in Italy, that combines natural
and artificial architecture with a rich
collection of sculptural groups that date from
Classical times to the 19th century.Reserve this tour

Theme tours
For each tour we offer a series of
suggestions, which may be modified according to
your own preferences and the time you have
available.
Tour
TH1 Michelangelo Tour. This tour starts
with the Academy Gallery, where we admire
original masterpieces by the great Michelangelo,
such as the David, the Prisoners, the Saint
Matthew and the Barberini Pietà. This is
followed by the Medici Chapels and the New
Sacristy, where Lorenzo il Magnifico was buried,
and the only location where Michelangelo worked
both as architect and sculptor at the same time.
Finally, we visit the church of Santa Croce,
which contains the tomb of Michelangelo.Reserve this tour
Tour TH2 Medici Family Tour. The
tour starts with the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, a
refined example of a Renaissance palace, with its
delightful chapel featuring beautiful frescoes by
Benozzo Gozzoli. The tour continues with the
church of San Lorenzo; here we pay particular
attention to the Old Sacresty, designed by
Filippo Brunelleschi, where the founding fathers
of the Medici family are buried. Next, we visit
the Princes' Chapel, an extraordinary Baroque
Pantheon in which the 'princes' of the Medici
family lie in rest. The tour ends with a visit to
Michelangelo's New Sacresty, where we admire the
selpuchres of the 'Magnificent' Lorenzo and
Giuliano Medici.Reserve this tour
TH3 Renaissance Tour. The
tour begins with the Cupola of the Duomo, where
we admire Brunelleschi's masterpiece from the
square below, and continues with the churches of
San Lorenzo and Santo Spirito. This is followed
by a visit to the Brancacci Chapel in the church
of Santa Maria del Carmine. Next, we visit the
Bargello Museum, where we give particular
attention to the works of Donatello, the Della
Robbias, and Michelangelo and his contempories.
The tour ends with a visit to the Pazzi Chapel.Reserve this tour
TH4 Baroque Tour. The
tour begins with the Princes' Chapel: the perfect
place for a brief account of the history of the
Tuscan Grand Dukes, buried here. The profusion of
stones renders this architectural work an
authentic jewel, the pride of Florence's Opificio
delle Pietre Dure (semi-precious stone workshop).
The next stop is the church of San Gaetano: a
Baroque-style church, with a suggestive and
scenographic facade, which seems designed in
imitation of Roman churches. This is followed by
the Church of Santa Maria del Carmine, where we
visit the Corsini Chapel, frescoed for the
Corsini family by the great Luca Giordano. Next,
we visit the Palatine Gallery in the Pitti
Palace, where particular attention is given to
the major Baroque works exhibited. Upon request
it is possible to visit the Palazzo Corsini. The
Palazzo was never inhabited by the Corsini
family, and thus this beautiful building has only
been used for holding receptions. Inside we can
admire the finest private collection in Florence,
containing works of art by Botticelli, Raphael,
Antonello da Messina, Pontormo, Rubens and many
other masters of painting.Reserve this tour
